The Black Chook Shiraz Viognier is sourced from the premium grape growing regions of McLaren Vale and Padthaway in South Australia.
Both regions have very consistent climates which produce some of the best Shiraz in the country and work together harmoniously in the final blend.
The Black Chook 2019 is floral on the nose with dark cherry, earthy, savoury herb, pepper and toasty oak spice flavours generous on the palate.
Great food-friendly acidity to pair with BBQ beef ribs. Shiraz Viognier food pairings: fried chicken in creamy gravy, rosemary lamb, pepper steak.
